The Steiner Chain is a perfect model for parametric experimental modeling. The inner circle has a fixed positions, while the tangent ones are allowed to move within the in-between. This creates a vertical continous core while emphesising a dynamic exterior of possibilities.

Vertical growth commenced through integration of scripting. We took the snapshots derived from 2D and let L-systems take over. We control twist, turn, and the number of elements in the equation. From right to left, we begin to see the possibility of complexity emerge with a simple system.
